Getting to Know Ramona

I've been a member here since the late 90's, before the Board was hacked. I absolutely love being able to help folks with their browser problems. For me, it is giving a forward pay back for all the support I received when the then Netscape Forum was created on Windows-Help.net. Helping members beats the heck out sitting in a rocking chair, watching the soaps. It definitely keeps the gray matter active, altho I certainly do have my "Senior Moments" on occasion.

On the more personal side, I'm retired from having worked 26 years in private industry, academe, and health care. I've lived in Kansas, Oklahoma, California, Michigan, and now in Missouri. My late husband's job took us all around the country, which I truly enjoyed, but was tough on our two children. My "children" are 44 and 40, a son and daughter. I am also blessed with two grandsons, 11 and 14, who are the light of my life!

This is such a terrific group, both members, moderators, and our fearless leader, Arie. I hope to be around until Arie finally has to send me to the "home "...
