Alright here is the problem. I recently bought a new computer because my old one died. The old computer was running xp pro that was on the recovery cd. My new computer is running xp home. I installed my old hd into my new one trying to get the documents and pics I had saved on it. Every time I try to get into the settings and doc folder it says access denied. xp pro is corrupt for some reason so booting it is not an option.. Some of those docs were important.. Like my little black book. :) . can anybody help me?

I have tried starting in safe mode.. My lcd monitor doesn't like the default res, but that sounds like an easier problem to deal with. I will figure it out somehow :D
