I have Office 2000. In Word, you can format background areas to blink on and off (Format/Text Effects/Blinking Background). Similarly, I'm looking for some way to get cells in Excel to blink on and off, based on some criteria, like dates, etc. Any way to do that??

Couldn't find the blinking option either. The answer must be in VBA (expecially for the conditional action!), but I had other thgs to look for in VBA programming at that time so I stopped looking for it.
if you find it, tell me :D

Edit : just looked for it : it's not included in xcel, so it's only possible in VBA. Are u familiar with that? If not, forget it! :D. They also say it's not recommended cos it slows down the processes.
