Get rid of balloon tips

Every time I connect or reconnect with my ISP, I get one of those annoying Balloon tips telling me that the connection has been established. Due to the use of a redialing program this often happens when I´m doing something really important, like playing a game or so...*g*. This often causes a crash on the momentarily running program, which annoys me even more... I searched the web for solutione but so far none of them worked. If anyone know who to get rid of those balloon tips, please let me know....

Sure I tried this, in different ways, but this only seems to work with XP not with 2000.

Doesn´t work either. Tried the same with "EnableBalloonTips" as D-Word with different values... seems to be a feature that can´t be shut off... Ok, anyway, thanks...
