Generic Host process has encountered an error!

I have 2 systems a PC and a Laptop (Both running on XP Professional SP3) connected via LAN cable. My problem is that when ever I establish a connection between the two and start exchanging files I get the following error in my laptop after a few minutes

"Generic Host Process for Win32 Services has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience ".

And the detailed error information contained the following

Error Signature:

I figured that it was the problem of my PC as this error doesn't appear when I connect my laptop to other PC's or any other laptop. I

conducted a full spyware and virus scan on my PC but could not find anything.


What could be really the problem ?
