GeForce4 ti 4200 lockups in XP

I have an ABIT Siluro Geforce 4 ti4200. I keep locking up in a lot of games. The only game that hasn't locked up is tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3. I can't even make it all the way through 3dmark2001. I've tried the drivers from ABIT's website, the newest detonator drivers from nvidia's website, and an older version of the detonator drivers. Anyone have any problems like this? Are there any known issues? I never had a problem with my GeForce 2. Please advise.

 

Try uninstalling the software, then remove the card from the device manager. I would even suggest reseating the card in the AGP slot. Let windows redetect the card and install the latest drivers. Not a specific fix I know, but sometimes you have to try anything. BTW check for any conflicts with this card in the device mngr under the cards properties (resource) tab.
