I'm a 63 year old Australian who is mesmerized by IT and whose insatiable desire for knowledge finds an outlet in the Internet. I am a knowledge junkie, but a computer novice. Where I have sought answers to problems that I may have encountered with hardware and software I have been continually frustrated by the many half-baked, convoluted, and obscure solutions that have been served up. By chance I found an intelligible answer that solved a problem - and the site was Windows BBS. Hence I am now a member.
