I am using Windows XP Pro for the past several months. Everything is working fine except games. I cannot play ANY games under XP. After a few minutes, the computer locks.
    My computer configuration :
    Pentium III, 866Mz, 384MB SDRam
Gygabyte motherboard, Intel chipset 650, 133Mz bus
    40G Quantum Fireball Hard drive
    MSI Nvidia TNT2 64 32MB
    Creative Vibra 129 sound card
    Samsung CD Rom Drive 52X
    HP CD Writer Plus 9100i

I just downloaded the latst driver from NVidia but or no avail. XP refused to play games. Those games (Fifa 2001, Need for speed Porsche, etc) work fine under even Windows 2000 Pro.
I love XP for its look, speed and stability but hate it because cannot play games.

I ve tried every tricks but no hope
    :( :(
Any help will be appreciated. Otherwise SAYONARA XP!!
Back to Win 98SE and Win 2000

    Got some work to do

Go to control pannnel Then Administrative tools/ computer Managment/ Event viewer/ look in both Applications and System
and post the Errors being loged.
Being an older mother board even tough its a good one and not that old I'll predict its a possible BIOS problem.
Post what you find and we'lll see if I can help:p
