I can not get the clock gadget to stay, if I add the clock it is fine but on a reboot it has gone!!!

I understand that the gadgets have different rules with Windows 7 as opposed to Vista but this is the Microsoft one also lost my drive info gadget.

Checked Microsoft site, and it would have been nice if they could have just shown a section just for Windows 7 gadgets.

Clean install or upgrade? In light of your other post, it looks like your permissions are seriously hosted.

    I'd do a clean install.
