   I have been given a Fujitsu Siemens Scaleo L. The person I got it from had forgotten the initial password so all I get is the screen asking for the password. I would like to clear everything off the PC and reinstall from the disks provided. is it possible to clear and reset this PC, if so how?

   Is it a bios password or a Windows password?
   
   If it's a Windows password, just pop in the XP cd and boot off of it. Format and reinstall.
