Resolved Fubared win7 and reinstalled

    had to reinstall win 7 after disk partion . I have rocvered the origional partition with easues data recovery . Is there any way to reinsert the origional restore points into the current install to essentially return my windows back to the origional install , and if so ---are the restore points located in the sys. volume info . folders I recovered ?

    Nope. The Windows System Restore isn't that powerfull. You'd need to clone the drive to be able to do that.
