ftp server setup on 2000 advanced server

Ok here goes nothing.

I am in the process of setting up a public ftp server, I was given so equipment and so forth and some software from the IT Lead where I work so.....

I have a router/firewall (hardware) and a pc setup, I just finished the 2000 Adanced Server install, I have 200Gig of storage.

The firewall is my big concern, now I was given a syantec corp. firewall but it looks a little to complex for what I am trying to acomplish, I have a version of sygate that is for a personal pc, I was looking at it, and it looks simple enough, this server will be setup and left alone from there on out....

just trying to figure out which firewall I will be installing....
