Windows 2000 workstation with Windows 2000 advanced server running ISA firewal.

I can download ftp files but not upload. I don't even have folder view. I get a read only error because proxy server is not set up to allow full access.

In internet options advanced, and I have check the enable folder view for ftp sites check box

Ports 20/21 set to allow traffic in and out?

Your FTP server or elsewhere (so maybe a problem with their settings)?

If using a proxy server, you may have to go back to Internet Options\Advanced tab and enable passive mode for FTP.

On the ISA server, I have port 20 and 21 open for both in and out bound.

I have enable folder view for ftp checked and enable passive mode checked.

I can connect to the ftp site, but not get folder view.

Are you using an FTP client or just IE ?

There is an option to allow FTP over HTTP
