Not sure what forum this belong's in but my boss is trying to send me software tutorials that we bought. However they are on 9 compact discs. How can he send them to me over the net?

Is there a public FTP site that we could use? Would creating a torrent work? Ideas?

All of the following suggestions should first be APPROVED by company who sold your boss the program.
Boss would need to furnish you with valid licensing keys to complete install.

Take a look at Free file Transfer sites.
Zip / compress each CD file contents prior to transfers.

Another suggestion, possible software seller has a compressed file install program you could download from site.

I would try to compress the contents of the disk and then send by a service
Try copying the contents of the disc into a folder
( Just so its in once place)
Use a program such winrar to compress that folder into one package
You can then send the compressed folder with a service used to send files larger than what is allowed as attachments
Once received you can burn the data onto cds if you wish

    Two services
    - you send it or something like that
used to be good. Kept changing the rules and would not tell what service levels were free. Now the idiots keep sending me please come back emails

    - better service is called Pando
your boss can send up to 10 people at once . The more that download the file faster it goes
    - In this case you do not have to compress with winrar
You can drop that whole folder that you created as a Pando package

    www.pando.com
