I'm guessing this is how it goes.

You install it, put in product key, it says you can use it 49 more times before you have to register it (online), when you register it sends your hardware specs.

If someone else tries to install it, with different hardware specs, it will not be registered, am I right?

Or can you install it on more than one computer?

Here's what Microsoft has to say about Front Page licensing.

Yes, you can install it on a second computer according to this paragraph:
"Each licensed user in a business or enterprise may make one copy of FrontPage 2002 to load on their own portable device for their exclusive use and for business purposes. "

Try Dreamweaver! :) And if your going to be web designing more than one site, learn HTML, its really easy. Might only take a few hours to learn.

    BDBD;) ;) ;) ;)

Before I get in any trouble, could a portable device be considered another home computer?

Lee...let's see...can you pick up and move the home computer? If so, I guess it's portable. ;)

Technically, however, I'm sure MS has laptops in mind. You know, all those laptops Megacorp hands out to its employees so they can work at home on all that Important Business Stuff? (Judging from the tech calls a MIS friend of mine gets after hours from his users, Important Business Stuff entails a lot of web surfing and downloading a lot of software that crashes computers. )

It could be considered portable, true, they weren't specific enough to say laptop ;) Well I want the opinion of a big guy on here, what do you think?

I'm on here, a guy for sure, and certainly have to qualify as big with a 7¾ hat size, 3X shirts, and a really awesome gut.

I think Miz is nearly always right on the money and when she speaks, I listen. And believe.

I qualified with the "nearly always" simply because I haven't read all her posts and because some are on topics where I don't have a clue. But all I can remember of hers when I knew "the answer" too, were correct.
