    Hi all,
I just re installed windows XP and it is going fine, but I cannot find back-up.
    Is that a separate installation?

also when I boot up, I get to a sign on screen and I have to click on my name to go on. there must be a fix for that to, I am the only one logging on and would like to bypass that screen

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Sven.
What do you mean? Are you talking about locating where your backup data is or something else?

Take a look here, How To Automatically Logon To Windows XP.

Hi Sven, I see Evan has given you some info but if you go to > Control Panel > User Accounts > User Accounts > change the way users log on or off > check Welcome screen > Apply Option > Close. Neil.
