frequent server error for hotmail account using windows live mail

I use windows live to access my Hotmail account as well as other email accounts.
I am frequently getting this error for my mailshot account:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail (barcann) account.

Server Error: 0x80072EE7
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x80072EE7


Does anyone know how I can resolve this? and also is there any other software for my desktop that allows me to bring in more than one email account at a time, without having to use my browser?

In many cases, error 0x80072EE7 is caused by small interruptions in communications between your computer and the server. Since these issues usually resolve themselves, I simply wait 10 minutes or so and try again.

Microsoft Outlook is one.

 

What version of Windows are you using and what e-mail program. I used Outlook Express to get my Hotmail for years. Don't use it anymore as I just have Hotmail for those sites that insist on having an e-mail address so that they can spam you to death.

 

MrBill, I am using Windows Live on my desktop to bring in my various emails, including Hotmail. It is Hotmail that I keep getting errors with.
I cannot seem to find another desktop program that brings in all my emails so maybe I will just have to do as SpywareDr suggests..wait it out until the error resolves itself. It's what i have been doing,but it is frustrating.
