My Lenovo Yoga (8 GB; 512 GB drive; i7 processor;Intel dual-band wireless AC-7260 adapter) frequently needs to have Network (Windows) Troubleshooting done in order to regain Internet access. I can work on the laptop for a while, and if I go away and come back, I usually have to run the troubleshooter in order to get connected again. It tells me it had to reset the network adapter.
Wondering what is going on that causes this to happen. Is there a setting I'm missing in order to keep the adapter from losing connection to the Internet? I also lose the connections while actively working on various items.
NOTE: This is a repeat of my post of Jan 2019 with the same issue. I followed every suggestion offered and thought the issue was fixed by disabling the 802.11n/ac wireless mode (as someone suggested) but that didn't resolve the problem. I tried to reopen that string but was unable to so I'm starting a new one in case someone has any new suggestions I can try.

I did a Google and the answer was to renew AC 7260 Adapter card.

Disabled then restarted. Required 'fix' obviously as card was disabled and would not connect. Did an admin fix and is connecting. We'll see how long it takes to 'bomb' again.....

Thank you! That appears to have fixed my issue. If I may ask, what did you 'Google'? The issue? the adapter card? the PC? Would appreciate knowing for my personal knowledge.

    1. Open Device Manager.
    2. Expand Network Adapters.
    3. Right-click on USB Wi-Fi Adapter and open Properties.
    4. Under the Power Management tab, uncheck the ”Allow the computer to turn off the device to save power” box.
    5. Now, under the Advanced tab, locate Selective suspend and disable it.
