In the last few weeks when I first turn on my computer after a couple min or sometimes almost immediatly the screen freezes up and I have no choice but to turn it off and restart after a couple of times with this it works fine. I have run scan disk and defrag. and it still occurs I also ran a virus checkand nothing shows up. I've had this computer for a while and nothing like this ever occured before.SOMEBODY HELP.

Go to start...then run...then type in msconfig
Click ok...then go to the start up tab.
List for us what you have checked.
Have you done a recent and updated virus scan? If not.... use the free online one at housecall.
Cleared your computer of spyware lately? If not...download and run adaware.

We're trying to do just that. But in order to help.... you're going to have to post back with some progress reports?
