    Stumbled accross this awhile back and was amazed at what this guy is doing coding in "PureBasic" ....Mempad...

    If you have large text databases that lend themselves to a tree style structure, you'd be hard pressed to find anything faster at search and retrieve ...and all in a 97kb executable ...the interface is a tad unorthodox...but very functional ...
