A few yrs. ago my best friend recommended I use FrontPage as an easy, down&dirty way to put a webpage together, and also 'cuz it was FREE with either the OS (98 or otherwise), or IE ver. x. I've looked EVERYWHERE for it FREE, and can't find it ANYWHERE for FREE. Yeah, call me cheap. That's life when you're unemployed. Tanx for any help.

gplea--Front Page Express is part of Win98 (I do not know about subsequent versions of Windows), so you might consider it "free" if you have Windows98. Look for FPXPRESS.EXE (or C:\Program Files\Front Page Express) on your PC.
Front Page is the industrial strength version. That is sold separately.
This site gives you a short look into the differences

Front Page Express is available in an extracted form here:

I just installed it on XP by putting the MSIE 5.01 SP1 FrontPage Express CAB file and the .inf and .bat files contained in fpesetup.zip into the same folder and running the batch file. Worked perfectly ;) .
