    Hi Everyone,

I am brand new to this forum and will probably ask a question that has been asked 1 million times. Here goes...

We would like to forward word, excel, ppt, gifs, etc using MS Mail. So say you have an open ppt that you want to send to someone via email. I go click on "file" in the upper left hand corner of the ppt file window, then the drop down menu box has an option to "Send To "/ "Mail Recipient (as Attachment)" and once selected a new email message pops up (or so it appears) that looks like an email with lines for the address, subject, attachment.

In short it looks like an email ready to go... There is only one problem. The message does not have a send button anywhere on it. I have gone into every preferece drop down and tried everything that I could think might work.

Are there any hints that members could give me to fix this frustrating problem.

    Many thanks!

    Regards, Bob

Can do it the old fashion way...Start you email message first. Then click the INSERT button and insert Attachment.

Guess when you click on FILE, you don't have the send option?

Bring up IE->Tools->Options->Programs tab->click on the "Set Programs" button.

Set your default programs->Windows Mail and click the options->Set this program as default.
