recently set up a homepage for myself using a friends webhosting service.

Setting up the page and making several additional pages was no problem.
The problem is that there is a forum called www.webpagefun.com ". I can logon with no problem but when I go to make a post or reply to a post, it logs me off. I have set cookie permissions and they are being set. Forum administrator seems unable to figure out the problem.

I have no problem with other forums I participate in such as this one and have nmo problems with visiting any web page I desire. I leave myself signed on to many places day after day with no problems. I have run spybot search and destroy and adaware and found nothing. I have Zone Alarm set up to clear cache every other day. I did system restorre and rebooted. I deleted every cookie stored on my pc and started building anew, still the problem persists.

Anyone have any thoughts as to the problem here?

Not sure exactly what is happening but how about putting that site in your trusted zone (assuming you trust it) and seeing if things work OK that way.

If they do then you have an internet zone setting that is a little tighter than the site will permit.

Sorry Guys, none of the suggestions. There was a topic reference "Hyperlinks in e-mail or Newsgroups that do not work" and I had that problem as well and the fix for that worked well and I thought it had solved my forum problem, but, alas, it did not. Now what is happening is that I can log on and maybe make one or two posts then the program logs me off. I can close the the program window and come back 5-10 minutes later or next day, and enter it again and I am logged back on with no action on my part other than opening the window.

    Weird, huh?

I guess I did not make my last post into a question. So, anyone got any solution for my problem?

I don't think this problem is specific to your machine. My wife goes to a forum where she experienced the same problem, and I tried many things to overcome it. The forum recently changed their software to vbulletin and the problem no longer exists. Don't no if it's the software itself or the type of cookies used.
