Resolved Formatting Pictures

How do I adjust the pc so I can view the pictures in my photo library without having to use the media device they were taken with? I'd like to be able to just open the folder and see the pictures instead of these stupid Icons that don't tell me anything . I have to click on the picture and open it to see if it's the one I'm looking for and it's a pita!!
I'm sure I probably changed something that effected this, but don't ask me what! lol

 

Make sure your "Folder options>View tab>has the option to show thumbnails checked.
Also take advantage of the "preview Pane ".

I knew it was a simple fix. Just didn't know how easy or how to fix.

Another great way to view your pictures/photos, is via Picasa which to be frank is so much easier. I have used it for a long time and wouldn't be without it.
