format pc can not see secondary compress drive

hi i re-install windows xp service pack 2 and now i can not see the secondary drive.

the user tell me that the secondary drive designation was written on blue letters wath let me believe that the drive was compress and after formating the primary drive now i can not see the data on the secondary compress drive.

when try to access the drive it request to be formatted in msdos it sends the following message "the volume does not contain a recognized file system "

also i used winternals 2007 an i can see that the properties for the drive and can see some used space disk but not access the data.

i believe that when i re-install the windows the compression settings for the secondary drive where lost cna someone help.

yes it is pata/ide primary disk master secondary compress drive cs they work and i can see a drive letter assigned but i am unable to access the data with winternals i can see the proerties for the disk and see the used space
