I had my C drive crash last summer and the repair shop put the o/s on my larger D drive. Fine. Now, Windows cannot "see" my fonts- they are not visible in Explorer but are using The Font Thing viewer. The fonts DO show in Word documents. But as I fiddle with designing an Html page, the font doesn't reproduce. I figure that something got "lost in the translation" from the C drive to the new one. Am I right in this? How can I correct it? I'm not certain I've id-d the problem correctly. Thanks.

    Hi, Torque ~

There is nothing to get 'lost in the translation' as there is no translation. If the OS was installed on D:\, then all system fonts were subsequently installed to D:\WINDOWS\Fonts. Do they not appear there?

What app are you using to fiddle w/ and HTML doc?

I am using a notepad program to create HtML files and specifying a fontface= " " to show different ones. They do not seem to show up correctly. I recalled at some time in the past where installing a font was slightly different than installing other files, so I was looking for some ideas about that process and how I might need to "re-do" it to tell Windows where these fonts were. I will recheck my code. Thanks for the reply!
