Font size in Photoshop palettes

I have a close friend whose main interest is digital imaging using Photoshop 7, Sadly his eyesight is failing and he can no longer clearly see the text in the layers, channels, etc palettes.

He runs Photoshop on a dual monitor set up with the palettes on the second monitor. Changing the Windows font size does not alter the size of the font in the palettes. The second monitor is running at the lowest resolution possible - 800 x 600.

Any ideas?
