this might be stupid, but one day some web page hijacked ie, apparently, and made all my fonts smaller. i am not blind, but i hate to have to use my bifocals :) anyway, i went into "view" and changed the font size under "text size" to medium.... where it had been before. i had noticed it was "medium" one day when i was bored and just looking thru the drop-downs. as i say, i changed the text size to medium and went on thinking it was fixed. but, every time i open IE now, it opens with the text size at "smaller" instead of medium.

how do i get IE 6 to keep the "medium" setting?

i said this was probably stupid :)

Do you, by any chance, use Eudora?

Deselect the option to use the Microsoft Viewer in Eudora (under Tools - Options - Viewing).
