About 2 weeks ago my computer froze and when I restarted it, all of the names under the icons were shown in about a size four, as well as words in numerous applications, the address bar, etc. Also, I'm not sure what to call them, but bullets (maybe?- for example, on AIM, the small image beside "save password" and "auto login ") have become distorted (at the bottom of this page, where it says you may choose an icon for your message from the following list, well beside all the icons where i am assuming a box would be,a letter "i" underlined is there, which becomes a shade darker when clicked)... also the maximize, minimize, and restore buttons in the corner of all web pages are simply different symbols, almost like accents, rather than the boxes that they should be. I haven't noticed that it has caused any errors in the computer, other than extreme difficulty in trying to read messages and just overall annoyance. PLEASE HELP!

    Hi Ashley5
Welcome to the boards! Have you gone through device manager and looked for any yellow exclamation points? Did you try a system restore yet? When's the last time you did an updated virus scan, scandisk and defrag?

    Tried those...

Thanks for the ideas, but I did try all those. I did a system restore right after the font change, and when it was done, the fonts were still ******* up. I downloaded a new antivirus program last week in hopes of finding something there, and it did not find anything suspicious...
