I am using Win98SE and in My Documents folder i have an empty folder called "My Pictures ". Everytime i delete this folder, the next time i use the Pc, i found this folder re-created. Do you think that a graphics application is createing this folder automatically?

Actually on this pc i have only PhotoEditor and MS Paint installed and in Photeditor i did not manage to locate any options to see whether it has any default directory named "My Pictures ".

    Any ideas pls ?

    Thanks!

    Hi maxmangion!

The "My Pictures" folder is a Shell Folder defined in several places in the registry. If it is deleted it will be recreated at the next reboot.

When You click to save a picture on e.g. a web site, Windows will default to this folder for most (all?) picture formats.
