Resolved Folders of Pics & do not show Pictures

Today I open folders of Pics and do not see Pictures. All I see is .Bmp and .Jpg things. No Virus or Adware problems. No downloads or changes made. There must be changes made, but I cannot imagine what it could be.

 

With the pictures library open, just above the right hand pane there are three icons. Hold the mouse pointer over the left hand one and it will show "Change Your View" do a single left click and the view will change, keep clicking until you get the desired view.

 

I am not sure that I am at the right place. If I am, then nothing has changed. None of the Pics has changed from .BMP to Picture. If I click the .BMP it changes to Picture. But I want to change the .BMP to Picture by opening the Folder. Then all .BMP and .JPG should be changed to Pictures which can all be viewed at once.

 

I understand what you are trying to do but have tried all the settings in my pictures library and can't get it to show what you are seeing, I'm baffled. Maybe somebody else can suggest something.

 

Things are back the way I want them. I do not know how or why. I have no idea.
