I'm running Windows 2000 and would like to protect a folder. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

    Thanks.

You can place security on the folders that you don't want other people to access. The properties sheet of the folder has a security tab on it, and with it you can actually deny access to certain people.
Keep in mind that any administrator of the system can seize control of any folder whether or not you lock it down or not.
If you are in a domain, you can also use EFS (Encrypting file system). With this you essentially lock the files with a public key and it requires your private key to unlock it. A domain recovery agent can also recover them in case you get hit by a bus and your company needs those files.
