flashes blue on boootup

    windows xp flashes blue on bootup too quickly to read it.

    i think i've had this proeblem b4, windows writes the error to a file, but i can't remember where that file is??


    anyonw know???

    Event logs are usually where that sort of thing is written.

    If the problem happens after a stop/BSOD and the system restarting, try changing that so it does not restart after a stop error. It should then pause at the blue screen and allow you to read what is there.

    Go to Start, Control Panel, System, Advanced Tab, Startup & Settings at the bottom and click Settings, then untick "Automatically restart "
