Flash 6 crashes IE6

    IE6 sometimes crashes do to Flash. The error i get says something about ie must close & would you like to send an error message. The error box says Modversion 6.0.79.0 & Modname flash.ocx
    I've done all the stuff Macromedia Flash support page suggests: I've uninstalled, reinstalled. Reinstalled in the safe mode. This is on a clean install of XP & IE. I've ran out of ideas. Hope you can help. Here is the details: XP Pro SP1 with all the latest updates. IE6 ver. 6.0.2800.1106. ATI Radeon 8500 graphics card w/latest drivers. Turtle Beach Santa Cruz sound card.
    This is driving me nuts. Please help.

    Hi George,

    Just a thought - have you installed the updates to IE 6 ?? SP1 and Q818529.

    Help > About Internet Explorer shows which updates are installed.

    My version of Flash is the same and I'm not aware of a problem.

    Yep, have all the updates. What's weird this all started after i did a clean install of XP. I tried another clean install and got the same results.
