Hi group of fellow computer enthusiasts. I have been into computers since the paper tape and punch card systems. Then moved to the first home based systems, to radio shack color computer, model III, adam, compaq, apple, macintosh, to the first IBM desktop and been heavily involved ever since. It's a passion of mine to troubleshoot, repair and build hardware and software problems that are a challenge to most. As a retired electronics engineer and radio operator I continue to work with the new systems that emerge. I do not like to overclock but love fast computers. I prefer Intel processors but also believe AMD is a good cpu. As a matter of fact I am using the AMD 6 core cpu right now. So from time to time I can help but also need advice when I get to the end of my rope.
