Fixing text size in Thunderbird and Firefox

    Is it possible to set a larger type size in TBird and Firefox instead of continually using the Ctrl-+ to get the size I like

    It all depends on what you want, but considering that you are asking for Firefox as well, I am taking it that you also want to view messages with a larger font.
    Tools|Options|Fonts and uncheck box about other messages.
    In Firefox , Tools|Options|General, fonts and colors sections

    The TBird option showed font size but in Firefox, neither the General or any other tabs offer the font size option.

    Options/Content Tab/Fonts and colors/Advanced. Untick "Allow pages to...... "

    My Firefox1.0.7 shows the path which I gave. However, FF1.5 has the path given by Bmoore. This illustrates the problem with incomplete information.
    I, just, happened to have reinstalled FF1.5, and saw this difference.
