Help me out here. Steve these are not all Critical Updates according to the read me at the MS Update site.

Cumulative Security Update for Outlook Express 6 SP1 (KB823353)listed as Moderate

Security Update for Windows XP (KB840315) Critical

Update for Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) 2.0 and WinHTTP 5.1

Security Update for Windows XP (KB841873) Not rated

Security Update for Windows XP (KB839645) Critical

    839643 rated Moderate

Why do they tell us all are Critical and then rate some Moderate. I feel we should only install Critical Updates.

If you go to the auto UpDate Site they're listed in the Critical Section. Guess some are more critical than others ;)

I think that means moderately critical. In other words, it addresses and fixes a critical flaw, but it is at this point only a moderate vulnerability, probably due to how easily or often it might be exploited. I do remember a 'critical update' that never should have been though, IPv6.
