   Have bought a new Motherboard with a 3.0ghz pentium 4 can i remove my hard drives from old pc and just put in new one or will i have to reinstall windows. I do not want to reinstall as some registration no's for programs do not work if i do.

   You will need to make a Repair install of Windows as the hardware has changed and do not forget to load the chipset drivers for the new motherboard - should be on an accompanying CD.
