First time startup Netscape 7.0

1. How can I change first time startup settings. Exam. -startup window size, -hide sidebar? etc...
What files should I modify?

2. What is the meaning of these files in
c:\Program files\Netscape\Netscape\defaults\pref -
folder?

Hi ARI,

To hide the Sidebar, click on F9, or :
View|Show/Hide|My Sidebar

To resize the startup window click on the Minimize/Maximize (middle) button in the upper right corner of the screen. Hold down the shift key when closing, and the desired size should be available when reopened. You can accomplish the same thing by clicking on the small Netscape Icon in the upper left corner of the screen and select either Minimize or Maximize.

The Pref folder contains all your settings, which can be viewed by typing "about:config" in the location bar.
