firefox won't copy paste pictures

Ahaaa it is firefox that is preventing me from copy and paste pictures

any solutions or do I just uninstall it and go back to IE

 

from pics to a forum or pics from emails it used to work til I downloaded firefox

 

I don't understand what you mean. It used to work where? What has downloading mean? Which version.
From what you imply, it works with IE, but something does not work with Firefox.
Not knowing the site, I cannot tell. It may be a site coded for IE, but the solution is simple, with the IE Tab add-on.

 

Some have reported solving the problem you're having just by reinstalling Firefox over top of the current installation.

If that doesn't work, start Firefox in safe mode. There should be a shortcut on the Start Menu>All Programs in the Firefox folder. If the shortcut isn't there, go to Start>Run, type "firefox -safe-mode" (without the quotes), click OK. If copy and paste works, the problem is likely with one of the add-ons.

Finding out which one is a matter of starting Firefox in its normal mode and either disabling all add-ons, then enabling them one at a time, trying to copy and paste after each or disable one you suspect as the culprit, try copy and paste, etc.

If neither of those works, a Google search for "cannot copy and paste in firefox" will give you a little over 3,000,000 links. Somewhere in those is bound to be a solution that works for you.

true in many cases, but, regardless, I cannot understand what the problem.
The way the issue is stated, Firefox is preventing copy/paste using any browser. It makes no sense. What do you mean, kawthar? Explain in steps, like: 1.Open a browser (name it).
2.Login to forum. 3. Find picture.
Is this done with Firefox, and then with IE? And, neither works, or, only IE? It is impossible to tell, the way the issue is stated.

 

I uninstalled firefox and IE works fine with copy paste. I reinstall firefox the problem comes back I cannot copy paste either with ie or firefox. So I have uninstalled firefox for good I just don't use it.
Must be a problem with vista and firefox. Everytime I install something vista messes up.
