Hi, I opened firefox up this morning and for one my startup page wasn't there. I went to options and changed it 3 times and reset firefox and it didn't work.

Another thing thats wrong with it is you cant got back, and it doesn't tell you the name of the page you are on

example if i went to google.com and typed in flash games and clicked on the link it would still say google.com on the top, and not allow me to press the back button, as if I had deleted my history while on the page, which i didn't.

    please help

    Welcome to the Forum, kier2!

Have you been maintaining Firefox on a regular basis, i.e., clearing Cache, etc? If not, take a look at this page: Preventive Browser Maintenance. Ignore the references to Mail, but do the rest of the maintenance suggested, and see if it helps.

There is a setting in Firefox that takes a lot of work out of manual maintenance:
    Tools | Options | Privacy

    Scroll down to: Private Data
Enable: Always clear my private data when I close Firefox
    Click on: Settings
Make your selections on this menu
