Firefox Browser will not load webpage

I can't open browser when I click on IE browser or fireFox browser tells me cannot desplay webpage
can anyone help me

I can get on the internet with yahoo messenger or MSN

in the address bar?

FireFox1.5 will not load webpage all I get is a blank screen and it says done at the bottom of browser. When starting I always ger a error message that says .
yahoo toolbar Could not load this dialog,refresh the toolbar and try again

Start Firefox in Safe Mode and see if it opens correctly.

Are you having the same problem with IE, or is the problem confined to Firefox?

I would say that uninstalling the Yahoo Toolbar might be in order.

 

ireFox Browser will not load webpage

I tryed in firefox safe mode did the same thing will not display webpage , yes I'm having the same problem with IE 7 beta 3 I took Ie 7 off and still had the same problem with IE 6 so I put 7 back on . I can get on a webpage and and surf the web with Netscape 8.1

Did you install the Yahoo Toolbar for IE? I think you need to uninstall the Toolbar, clean up the Registry and see if you can connect then.

Is this an "out of the blue" problem, or did it start after installing another application, or extension?

Out of the blue problem happen Friday . I remove all yahoo toolbar I run System Mechanic to clean registry . and when I start firefox I just get a white page will not display a webpage. And IE I get this, Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet.
The website is encountering problems.
There might be a typing error in the address.

What you can try:

I am contacted to the Internet I can browse with Netscape8.0

 

I'm sure you double checked your Internet settings for both Firefox and IE. Did you also try typing in a link in the Location Bar?
