    Hi-Ramona and All,
Since I'm running current FF 1.5.0.4 and all is working well, I'd like to remove my old NS7.0 software,,but-I'm afraid I'll lose all my bookmarks associated with that program!!
I've used sync2it.com for years and it's always done the job...NOW-I find it only works in admin. rights NOT in limited user mode....They are aware of this bug and are working on it..
It seems my bookmarks are from NS7.0 up front not FF? which I use all the time. I've imported all NS 7.0 bmks to firefox properply but they don't display as such. The imported line appears as "from Netscape 6/7/Mozilla"
and the FF bkmks are there also, just separated....I know I'm not explaining this very well!!!!
If I remove NS7.0 program, will the bookmarks be lost or since I've imported them correctly, they shouldn't be affected, right??
    Thanks for your help.
    John in Dallas.

What you see is perfectly normal, if you imported your setting from NS7 after installing FF. I am using the imported bookmarks, and, I am not doing anything with those which may have been given to me by Mozilla Firefox. Now, what you see is all part of a new bookmarks.html file. The bookmarks are not loose, they are part of a file.If you remove NS7, you will not lose the profile, anyway, which you will have to select to be removed. You can keep your profile as a backup, or if you wish to use it, later for Seamonkey, should you want to use it.
You will not lose your file from your Firefox profile, but it does something that NS7.0 never did. It backs up the bookmarks.html files of the past five days!
