Previously I had a fine Firefox3.0 And I've changed some about:cofig settings that I knew from a forum to boost up my browsing speed, but up to that point there was no problem...but since I installed Visual Studio software in my computer, my Firefox starts to crash often when it tries to use the Java

Few days ago, I used a Revo Uninstaller to uninstall my QuickTime Player in Advanced mode that cleans up to registry and stuffs.. then my Firefox address bar search feature starts to not working, when I type in my keywords, I get an error message saying firefox does not recognize the address.. but If I type only one keyword, it searched from google...

I didnt like those problems, uninstalled it, and installed the 3.5 one..
But then it even turn worse, the scroll bar shows in left, I couldn't use my mouse scroll, clicked Tools>Options only blank windows comes out even in Safe Mode, the address bar search feature is not even working at all, im not sure is there any other weirdness that I havent find out,. can anyone help me out with this problem? Ive even tried to reinstall it

I have moved this thread. The problem only seems to be with Firefox.

The problem you have encountered might possibly be due to any add-on programs you installed for Firefox. Look for any that may be (cross-)related to Quicktime.

The "super uninstaller" (Revo) may have caused problems in the registry. You might need to reinstall Quicktime. Uninstall Firefox first, it doesn't work properly now, after that, use the standard/normal Quicktime uninstaller.

Try to reverse your steps. Reinstall Quicktime before you uninstall it again "normally ". Look for any Firefox add-ons that might be causing problems.
