I would like to remove Extensions & Plugins that are not needed. These are the ones I'm not too sure about. Are these okay to Disable? All of the Plugins listed cannot be Removed. Should I also Remove any of them instead of just Disabling them?

    Extensions:
    Microsoft .NET Framework Assistant 0.0.0

    Plugins:
    Java Deployment Toolkit 7.0.50.5
    Java(TM) Platform SE 7 U5 10.5.0.5
    Microsoft DRM 9.0.0.4503
Microsoft DRM 9.0.0.4503 (Listed twice for some reason)
    Microsoft Windows Media Services 4.1.0.3917
    Shockwave Flash 11.3.300.262
    Silverlight Plug-In 5.1.10411.0
Windows Media Player Plug-in Dynamic Link Library 3.0.2.629
    Windows Presentation Foundation 3.5.30729.1

You should disable them one at a time and double check that your favorite sites ect still work.

I would not disable or remove Flash. As for the others. I would disable them, if not remove them if add-ons (the old Framework Assistant has been disabled for months), but I would mess with the plugins, unless you know, exactly, what they are for.

You can disable the .Net Framework, safer that way, anyway.
The rest enables you to see online video and use the Java environment.

As for the DRM, it is
The quote comes from a 2006 post reply at another website.
    Another reply says:
If you don't care for the protected files, you should be able to dump it easily. I, hardly ever, use Microsoft software, other than Windows, and don't even have most of the add-ons or plugins.
