Have anyone get this problem lately? The FF3 download pop up is too small and I can't press the ok/cancel button because it was too small. I had to uninstall FF3 and use FF2 instead. here is the picture of what happened. I've tried to disable all the add-ons but it's still the same.

Are you using Firefox 3 default theme? This may correct your view. If it does, try different themes which are compatible. Hopefully your preferred theme will be updated for proper display of Firefox 3 features.

My popup is small, but it does not matter. I have selected, already, a download location in Tools|Options, and a download goes, routinely to the desktop. Why using BitComet when it is already outdated, I am not sure. But, for me, once I select the download, the Download Manager comes up, and the progress begins, till done.
In other words popup is only step 1 of the download, and perhaps BitComet is the problem..

It does not matter what it was before. Will you, please, try to disable BitComet?
BitComet may be as add-on which is not supported by FF3.0.
There are changes with the different versions, and when things like you describe happen, you have two choices. One is to swim with the current, i.e. accept what you get, and hope that things will, eventually, work out. The other choice is to go back with the previous version. Anyway, BitComet is not part of the original FF3.0, and it may not be usable for downloads with FF3.0.

    Westside,

Looks like you and sarf2k4 were posting at the same time, and you can see that he did disable the BitComet plugin. His problem seems to be solved...
