Any help in resolving this issue would be appreciated.

    Windows XP
    Firefox 3.6.8

Crashes on random sites, typically, whne I am clicking on a link to open another tab. The sites I am attempting to view do not have any special viewers and I'm not trying to download PDFs. I have compeltely uninstalled and reinstalled an older version only to have it updated automatically.

I have already referred to mozilla's support site and received no solution (i.e. remove nsBrowserOpt.dll). I do not have a virus. I have disabled ALL add-ons.

    Report generated on today's crash:

Those are not my photos. That is the link I was trying to get to from another web site. the crash occurs on other pages. I just happened to click on that link. The link is irrelevant, IMO.

    Still seeking a solution.

This is another one that I don't understand. I was assuming that URL was part of the crash report. Was the URL part of a crash or why was it there?

Yes. That is the link I was trying to access when Firefox crashed.

This is not the only link this occurs on and is why I said it was irrelevant. It just happens to be the link I tried to today when FF crashed. There are quite a few other web pages on which the crash will occur, like news web sites. Does that make sense?
