Firefox 3.5 causes small box to appear below my mouse arrow. This didn't happen in older versions.

I saw it might be an interaction with Google Toolbar, which i don't want to remove. Is there any plan to fix this bug, or does anyone know a solution to this?

Is there a better place to report bugs with firefox?

    Thanks!
    Jim

Close Firefox. Go Start>All Programs>Mozilla Firefox, click on Mozilla Firefox (safe mode). Same thing?

for some reason, Mozilla Firefox is not showing up under 'All Programs' (either as a folder with Firefox under it, or as a link directly to the program).

I went to 'program files' on my C drive and can only see one firefox.exe to click on to open firefox.

Any suggestions how i can get to this safe mode?

Is this just a test to see what happens or would the solution be to always open in safe mode, and if so, would i lose any features?

    Thanks!

No, nothing will happen. It's just a test to see, if Firefox without any add-ons will have same problem.

    Close Firefox.
Go Start>Run ( "Start search" in Vista), and paste this:
    firefox -safe-mode (<----watch for "space ")
Click OK (hit Enter in Vista).

That's one of the reasons, I dislike toolbars.
I'm glad, you solved it :)

Should anyone care, the Mozilla page on Safe Mode, is here. The issue should have disappeared in Safe Mode, as the Google toolbar is an add-on, and add-ons are disable in Safe Mode. Typically, one can see either on the initial start up, or by going to Tools|add-ons, which old add-on is not compatible with a new version. There is a feeling among users that add-ons, which are not integral part of the program should work with updates. It is not the case, so users must be prepared to do without an incompatible add-on, and look for updates.
As for bug reports, there is a certain process which must be followed. 90% of the presumed bugs are not bugs, at all, as explained above.
