Resolved Firefox 3.5.6 will not save bookmarks

    Clicking "Bookmark this page" on the right click menu or on the Bookmarks menu does nothing.

    Anyone having this problem?

    If so what's the fix?

    I don't why you see nothing. You should get a Pape Bookmarked popup, from which you can decide to place the bookmark in a folder of choice. Do you see all existing bookmarks after Organize Bookmarks?

    It's fine here too Bill, does FF in safe mode exhibit the same behavior? If not I'd look at your addons and try to determine which is causing the problem.

    I figured it out.

    I made a fresh profile and it works fine now.

    Safe mode did not help, reinstall FF did not help.

    I guess it was a worn out profile.....
