When Extension Panel is displayed, right click on any extension provides a drop down list. One of the choices includes Vist Homepage. When I select this option, I get a busy cursor briefly, then nothing happens. Firefox continues to work correctly in any other request. But when I close Firefox, the process does NOT end in Task Manger. This only occurs if I do the above request.
I can not test in Safe Mode, since this disables ALL extensions. I also have Firefox Nightly (Zip install - 11-10-05 Build - Auto-updates every night just fine), which copies in all extensions from Firefox 1.0.7. The nightly build does NOT have this problem. Unfortunately I do not know when this became a problem in 1.0.7

I have been using that feature in the past, and I rechecked it with 1-click weather and Fastefox, and both directed me to the homepage of the extention.
I found out that there was an update for Fasterfox. So, thank you.

The Firefox nightly's has been stable, so I decided to uninstall Firefox 1.0.7 and install Firefox 1.5-RC2 as my default browser. The problem in 1.0.7 no longer occurs with RC2.

Westside - Glad you got them extensions updated, always a challenge with new Firefox releases. :)

Were you using a profile different from the nightly, for that troublesome FF1.0.7? If you did it would tell me that it was the profile. If you shared the profile, then you would have had a program.
You really went overboard by making 1.5 rc2 default! I would have hesitated, but I am keeping everything, and am using everything.

My nighty zip was in a different folder with its own unique profile.
Not nice to share profiles. Have been using nightly zip very extensively the last couple of weeks. It is because it was stable I chose to end 1.0.7 and install R2 as my main default browser. Both R2 and nightly are doing just fine.
